We are extremely pleased today to announce the development will shortly commence on the Magento Enterprise upgrade for leading Irish brand, O’Neills Sports, recognised throughout Ireland as a leading sports brand with multiple retail stores in the North and South, we are very pleased to have been chosen by such a well established brand to take them onto Magento Enterprise and help to continue the growth of their online presence.
After a short visit to their HQ in Strabane where most of the items O’Neills sell we are very excited to kick this project off, they are one of the last if not the last companies to still manufacturer garments from scratch in the UK and Ireland, the whole process is amazing to see, our Technical Director did a full tour and review of the plants and saw how the whole process works from the very first click on the website to the item been manufactured through to production and delivery, certainly a process very few other online retailers in this industry can complete with the timescales and quality control in place here.
The news of this going ahead triggered excitement in the 2J office today and developers battling over who will be in charge of this one, however I think the Technical Director has this very close by his side and will be keen to see this project through to the end.
